Killarney Couple Session
“It was just about as close to heaven as I’ll ever get, I guess. I closed my eyes, lost in the feeling of flying and kissing and being with the one person in the world I completely, utterly trusted” ~ James Patterson.
“We have never been to Ireland before and we are so excited to finally cross it off our bucket list.” Wrote Tianna one November morning. Sean and myself giggled to ourselves, it won’t be the last trip you make to this magical crazy country. Ireland has a way of getting into peoples souls. A bit like the song “Hotel California.” You can check out any time you like, But you can never leave!’ Over the months we really enjoyed the correspondence with our Canadian couple.
Somewhat relieved that our couple were ready to brave all elements the weather could possibly throw at them, we met on a misty afternoon to “hike” our way up the Gap of Dunloe. Tianna looked adorable in her new yellow coat and Travis, well Travis just looked right at home amongst the landscape.
Over the hours of laughing at crazy drivers, taking about Canada, up coming farmyard wedding plans, we casually captured the pair as the mist turned to rain and rain to wind. Tianna giggled as she became more and more windswept. “You won’t be able to see me” she squealed. Travis howls of laughter turned to a much more serious intent look as he gently placed a kiss on her forehead before being whipped by golden locks of hair!
Wet and worn out from the “hike” we decided to warm ourselves by the fire in Kate Kearneys cottage. Apple pie and pots of tea, turned to pints and the best kind of never ending chats. All too cosy we said our goodbyes and promised to keep in touch.
Imagine the scene in our cottage one morning, Sean making the morning coffee with one eye on the surf reposts, Kate glancing over the emails while pulling on wellies…. The peace broken by Kate falling and screaming at the same time! Sean cautiously peers over the table to find Kate on the floor phone raised in triumph. Tianna and Travis are coming back… to get married… in Ireland!
