Cliffs of Moher Elopement
“She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that’s best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes…” ~
George Gordon Byron
Kalia is a total DOTE!!!!! It is not hard to see why Carter is so hopelessly smitten with his beautiful bride. Kaila and Carter flew over from Mississippi for their Cliffs of Moher Elopement. What an adventure it was! They were joined by their two besties Kevin and Louise who accompanied them on a world wind tour of the emerald isle.
The four gathered in he stunning Gregans Castle. They cozied up with great food and all the goodness that an Irish Welcome bestows.
Their morning was filled with surprise gifts and facetimes from those at home. On the way to the cliffs we stumbled upon an old church which was the perfect spot for the pairs first look. Emotions were like fireworks in the air as the Celtic Monk rose his hands to call on the ancient Irish spirts to come and bless the couples union. The cool summer breeze swam around us on the majestic cliffs as Kaila and Carters tears sealed their vows.
The tears quickly became that of laughter as Dara announced that they were forever tied together, or at least for a year as the old hand fashioning tradition dictates!
Driving along the nooks and crannies of the coast road the sun began to shine against dark grey skies creating the most fantastical scene for our couple to cosy up to. Their sheer joy adding that special magic to an already explosive day. We finished up in a whiskey bar in the hills of The Burren. Well, for pints and Cake naturally.
We said our goodbyes allowing the four best friends in the world to enjoy a night of incredible food, laughter, dancing, music and so much love.
Cliffs of Moher Elopement
We will certainly never forget this day. Or the love that was shared.
